Minnesota War History Committee. Collected research materials, [1940s].

1940s

Among the War History Committee's duties were to advise all government agencies, civilian organizations, and individuals involved in the making of records to maintain adequate records pertaining to Minnesota's participation in the war; to insure the preservation of those records; and to collect and coordinate information on war agencies and organizations for the Division of Civil Defense. The committee requested numerous publishers, manufacturers, service organizations, government entities, and foreign information services to place it on their mailing lists for publications relating to war work. These files contain the pamphlets, circulars, bulletins, magazines, newsletters, flyers, booklets, posters, brochures, reports, programs, guidebooks, announcements, journal and publication reprints, leaflets, and other print and near-print materials collected by the committee.
